Is Business Link failing in its task?


Should the Tories get into power later this year, would-be small-business minister Prisk says that one of his first acts would be to scrap the organisation.

Should Business Link be abolished? The busiiness advisory service, which costs £190m a year to run, is in the sights of the shadow minister for business and enterprise.


“We believe that regional Business Links are failing in their task,”

You should be able to start up a business in an afternoon, today our sytem is powerfully ineffective. We need to champion the entrepreneurs and the potential of social enterprise as a pathfinder out of recession."
