To avoid confusion, its meerkat star, Aleksandr Orlov, shows the difference between the two, saying ‘Comparethemeerkat.com, comparethemarket.com, simples!’

The ad has become so popular it has taken on a cult status amongst young people and the phrase ‘Simples’ has become part of their everyday language.
