What is a Manufacturers' Agent?

I help non resident companies grow. As a specialist International Trade and Commercial agency working exclusively within a wide range of
sectors. My goal is finding agencies for only very high quality products in the green sector:

Ecological lifestyles
Healthy lifestyles
Sustainable economies
Complimentary medicine
Personal growth

By understanding how effective marketing makes a real difference to a company's performance, sharpening its competitive edge to produce real results, we ensure our customers stand out from the crowd and the competition.

How do we do it for you?

An International Trade agent (sometimes known as a commercial agent) can be many things.

  • Middleman
  • Business Developer
  • Sales Representative
In its simplest terms we are people who introduce people who want to sell things to people who want to buy things.

Our role is to pass the orders to you and you invoice the buyer directly.

You hold the product and forward the goods.
We promote your business and your products.

We never buy from you ourselves nor handle the goods, unless for a small fee we take your returns or mis-makes and deliver urgent remakes to site.

This commission might be added onto your selling price and if you work exclusively with us then we will ensure that no conflict of interest takes place with you.

For this service you only pay our company a commission, which is due, only when payment is due from the buyer.
Our role is to identify suppliers that have competitive products to sell.

We then find out more about you, just as you would need to find out more about us, as a mistake could be costly for both parties.

Once we & you are happy to move forward we draw up an agency agreement and then find customers who regularly place orders.

You and the buyer are the principals of the deal and we simply act as your local representatives.

Why use our service?

You may currently collect some orders over the Internet, this could just be the tip of the iceberg.

The challenge we overcome is barrier of cost of entry to the United Kingdom and Ireland market places.

We may save you almost $40,000 a month in running costs of a UK and Ireland sales business.

  • We supply native English speaking staff
  • Telephone answered in your company name, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as your customer service/order-line.
  • Offices across the country
  • Nationwide sales-force
  • No set up fees
  • No travel expenses
  • No fixed costs, we sell nothing, you pay nothing
  • Commission is the only payment we ask for
  • Payment only due when the customer s invoice is due
  • Train your customers on the advantages of your product.
What is the rate of commission? The rate of commission we would expect to receive for our efforts is dependent on a number of factors

  • The size of our territory, as a general rule, the larger the territory, the lower the percentage rate of the commission
  • The length of exclusivity in our mutual agreement, are we still paid if someone from our area orders directly
  • The services we are asked to provide- for instance administering a returns policy
  • Who arranges and pays for expenses- for example who pays for advertising, brochures, exhibitions and other marketing material
  • The base figure on which the commission is calculated- for instance is it price list based or price after discount based
  • How good is your product in these markets- how quickly can we build turnover.
Our preferable terms would be sole selling rights for the UK and Ireland for a trial period of 24 months.

We could look at taking a smaller area such as England for our trial or only a 12 month exclusive contract.

I refuse many more companies than I like and hope that a refusal does not cause any animosity now or in the future.
Although it is simply not possible to take an agency for every company may I take this chance to wish you every success in your application to be represented by myself and my team. If this your first look at what I do then thank you and I hope you get chance to join our business family around the globe. All the best Richard
